Bi-orientation, by rearranging molecular chains, structures the pipe into strata that 

improve the physical and mechanical properties of the material (highter resistance to shock, 

to punching and crack propagation).

The Bi-orientation principle reduces the raw material content used during the manufacturing process thus reducing weight, costs and increasing internal diameter.

This app is an alternative to the traditional matrix for calculating the required diameter of a plastic pressure pipe used for water transportation. The app will apply parameters such as pipeline length, flow rate, system pressure and pressure loss to calculate the required diameter of the pipe. The app is suitable for GEOPVC (PVC-0), PVC-U and for PE100 (Polyethylene). 

The app also calculates the hydraulic parameters and makes a comparison between water pressure, pressure loss and water hammer for each possible solution. 

Assembly and compatibility with fittings

GEOPVC• pipes are easily assembled with leak-free socketed junctions. GEOFLOW continuously tests its GEOPVC• pipes with available fittings on the market. (see the list on our web site www.sotra-seperef.com) 

GEOPVC• pipes have the same diameter of all traditional fittings designed for plastics pipes (ductile iron and plastics) and are fully compatible with a wide range of fittings (restrained fittings, free fitting )  

They can be connected to hydrants either directly via gasketed push-fits or flange adaptor.
